1984 mr charington
My character analysis on mr charington. To start off he's a minor character because of how little he shows up in the story. He's also an antagonist in the story due to him exposing Julia and Winston to the thought police. He is also a static character because again since he's shown for a short amount of time, so it's hard to expand on this character, and from what we have seen from this character we're just going to assume he will not change his mind and continue exposing people similar to Winston and Julia. He's a flat character for the same reason. Obviously an antagonist. And finally a symbolic character, why? Because I believe he represents betrayal and deceit.
