1984 George Orwell

I think George Orwell's message is pretty clear in 1984. To me I think that looking at today's technology and reading 1984 really shows how much this book has inspired much of the technology we have today. But that's not what I'm talking about. What I believe George Orwell is saying in 1984 is that technology is advancing and evolving at an alarming rate that one day the world will be run by machines. Or the other theory I had is that again that technology is evolving and advancing so much that in the wrong hands, the creations can be used for wiping out groups of people and bring a new world order. I'd say I'd go with my second theory because he wrote this book in the time of wwII and I can only assume he was inspired by mans condition at that time. And also that his other book Animal Farm talks about animales putting humans in farm pens, so it's kinda clear that he's interested in these kind of topics.
